Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your team. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the business's success. Among the most important is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We likewise work closely with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search significance enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly team that prioritizes strong onboarding and continuous assistance. New employee are directed through the ramp-up process till they're confident taking full of their work. Each staff member is helpful to other staff member when dealing with difficulties. We value a culture where wins are celebrated openly, and problems are owned together. We also make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep camaraderie strong. Q. What's your biggest achievement so far at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy with the professional growth I've attained considering that signing up with Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years ago. Throughout this journey, I've developed deep domain expertise, remained up-to-date with progressing industry practices, and consistently worked with modern technologies. My commitment to continuous knowing and effect caused my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my role as one of the group's technical leads. Most recently, I've taken on the responsibility of being individuals Leader for the team-an interesting next action that allows me to support others in their growth while continuing to drive technical instructions. I take pride in the reality that my long period here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to develop technically and take on greater leadership Q. What should somebody wanting to join us in #Tech know? A. Realtor.com provides exciting technical obstacles, from large-scale data handling to real-time search, personalization, and AI/ML combination.
